Marisssa completed the PDP in 2024. Bethany completed the PDP in 2025. "Her passion for bilingualism, her culturally rich lessons, and her innovative projects, including the Wendat Dictionary Project, inspire students to see the real-life value of learning French" . "Their dedication, energy, and ingenuity embody the spirit of French language education and inspire both students and colleagues alike" .

Since 1992, CPF BC & Yukon has offered a financial award to students completing their post-secondary education studies to teach French as a Second Language (Immersion, Intensive, or Core) in BC or Yukon. The CPF BC & Yukon Teacher Award is valued at $2,000, and up to two awards are granted each year.
