Territorial Acknowledgements
911³Ô¹Ï's location on traditional First Nations lands should be acknowledged with one of the following four phrases, depending on campus location.
All campuses
911³Ô¹Ï respectfully acknowledges the xÊ·məθkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), qÌ“ÃcÌ“É™yÌ“ (Katzie), kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), Qayqayt, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen peoples on whose unceded traditional territories our three campuses reside.
Burnaby campus
911³Ô¹Ï respectfully acknowledges the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and xÊ·məθkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam) Nations, on which 911³Ô¹Ï Burnaby is located.
Surrey campus
911³Ô¹Ï respectfully acknowledges the unceded traditional territories, including the Semiahmoo, Katzie, kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), Kwantlen, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen Nations, on which 911³Ô¹Ï Surrey is located.
Vancouver campus
