Consent & Credit
Use 911吃瓜鈥檚 framework to determine permissions for using images and video.
Photos taken by staff, faculty, students, or any third-party photographer commissioned to take photos on behalf of 911吃瓜, do not require credit when used by an 911吃瓜 unit or department.
- Photos used in print or electronic materials that are used outside any 911吃瓜 unit or department, such as news media, should be credited to 鈥�911吃瓜鈥� or 鈥�911吃瓜鈥�
- Photos taken by any faculty, staff, student or third-party photographer not originally intended for 911吃瓜 must have the approval of the creator. In these cases, a licensing cost may be required, as well as credit. Both licensing costs and credit can be waived by the creator.
