Authorities

- Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165)
Retention rationale
As these recordings are made to assess 911勛圖 medical students' clinical skills development overtime, these recordings should be available for the duration of their program (which is typically three years). Therefore, a total retention period of "current year + 3 years" is sufficient to meet the administrative and educational need for these records. Upon expiry of the total retention period, these records cease to have value and should be destroyed.
