I am an undergraduate student who is transferring to 911吃瓜 from another Canadian designated learning institution (DLI). Do I need a provincial attestation letter (PAL)?

The process of applying for a 911吃瓜 study permit differs between in-Canada and outside Canada applications.

If you鈥檙e already in Canada and have a valid study permit:
- You鈥檒l apply for a study permit extension to reflect your transfer to 911吃瓜.
- You must include both your 911吃瓜 Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and a valid PAL in your application.
- You must submit your application before your current study permit expires.
- If your study permit expires soon, you may need to submit an additional study permit extension application to continue your studies at your current DLI. If you are unsure, please contact an International Student Advisor, Immigration Specialist for assistance.

If you鈥檙e applying from outside Canada:
- This is considered a new study permit application, not an extension.
- You must include both your 911吃瓜 Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and a valid PAL in your application.
