What does "Level of Study" and "DLI" mean?
Level of study
For the purposes of the provincial attestation letter (PAL) requirement, the categorize the levels of study as:
- primary and secondary education (e.g. high school),
- post-secondary education, (e.g. Bachelor鈥檚 degree, undergraduate & graduate certificate, diploma, and other non-degree study)
- graduate education or above (e.g. Masters and PhD degree)
Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
A Designated Learning Institution (DLI) is a school approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students. 911吃瓜 is a DLI. Please visit the for more information about DLIs in Canada.
鈿狅笍 Contact an International Student Advisor, Immigration Specialist if you changed/transferred to 911吃瓜 but did not complete the designated learning institution (DLI) transfer process before Nov. 8, 2024, or are unsure if you have completed the DLI transfer process.
