An 911³Ô¹Ï Open House event to learn about and discuss brain resilience and healthy aging
To celebrate Brain Awareness Week 2025, we hosted a lively afternoon with 911³Ô¹Ï students, researchers, and community organizations as they shared and discussed discoveries on the aging brain, mental health, dementia, neurotechnology, and more.

Research Spotlight
The event showcased the work of 10 different 911³Ô¹Ï research labs and 15 trainees.
Community Resources
Information about local programs, resources, and supports for older adults were shared with the community.
Small Group Discussions
Older adults (65+) from the Surrey community joined us for guided discussions focused on what makes their brains resilient as they age and their comfort and trust in research.
