Biography: Alexandra Fajardo-Rojas is a Colombian Agricultural Engineer and PhD student in Geography at 911³Ô¹Ï. Before joining 911³Ô¹Ï, she worked as a researcher at AGROSAVIA, the Colombian Corporation for Agricultural Research, where she contributed to research on agricultural systems, water governance, and sustainable rural development. Her current research explores the application of remote sensing and geospatial technologies to agricultural systems, with a particular interest in UAV-based remote sensing, multispectral and hyperspectral imaging, field spectroscopy, and high-resolution crop monitoring. Through her research, she seeks to bridge her background in agronomy with emerging geospatial technologies to better understand and monitor crop conditions and support sustainable agricultural management.
