BC Transfer Pathways: Applying to Economics
Thinking of transferring to 911³Ô¹Ï's Department of Economics?
Our department maintains accreditation agreements with a number of local institutions. The following sections summarize the long-standing agreements we have with , , , and the . If you are thinking of transferring to 911³Ô¹Ï from one of these institutions, the coursework you have completed may be applicable to your economics program. Read on for more information.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- When you first transfer to 911³Ô¹Ï, you will be considered an "intended" economics student. Once you have completed ECON 201 you may apply to declare your economics major.
- The following sections are based off the information available on the and are current as of November 2025. For the most up-to-date information, please refer directly to the BC Transfer Guide, which is the official resource for course transfer agreements between BC institutions.
