MFA Spring Show

The title of the exhibition ���Mixed Greens��� provides an opening into the idea of an odd collection... The artists in this MFA cohort ask a variety of questions from their individual and idiosyncratic positions, analyzing a myriad of ideas such as power and authority, the senses and the body and the weight of history and decolonization. They work interdisciplinarily across live performance, sound, music and visual art. This mix is what vitalizes their budding interactions as they bump up against difference, discover means of cooperation and build a supportive, growing environment. A feeling of inclusion is fostered through public engagement and embodied participation in this constellation of works, inviting the public to share in the new growth and merge into the collective. You too are invited to become part of the mixed greens.

Mixed Greens features the work of Lucien Durey, Curtis Grahauer, Scott Saunders, Emiliano Sepulveda and Jaime Williams, Barbara Adler and Adriana Lademann in the Audain Gallery. The exhibition is paralleled by a performance series featuring the work of Rebecca Bruton, Kevin Doherty, Matt Horrigan, Robert Leveroos, Paul Paroczai, Alexandra Spence, Vilhelm Sundin and Ben Wylie, in various venues at 911勛圖, 149 West Hastings.
