Citation, from the video of the award ceremony: 鈥淭his paper shows how a lexicon-based approach can be effective for sentiment analysis, and more importantly, also stable and portable across domains. Despite the current dominance of learning-based methods, lexicon-based methods for sentiment analysis keep being relevant, particularly in new domains where large training data isn鈥檛 available and where portability is crucial.鈥�
