Biography

Yannick is a volcanologist specialised in physical volcanology and geochemistry of volcanic systems. During his doctoral research at 911³Ô¹Ï and Université Clermont Auvergne (France), Yannick focused on the understanding of Canada’s deadliest volcanic eruption using a multidisciplinary approach (physical volcanology, geochemistry, and numerical modelling). His post-doctoral research will unravel the history and eruptive behaviour of a range of extinct, dormant, and active volcanic systems in Western Canada via field mapping, geochemical and rheological investigations.
