Pathway Program
The FIC program is designed to support international students as they experience studying in Canada for the first time, and prepares them to meet 911吃瓜鈥檚 competitive degree standards. This pathway emphasizes small class sizes, upskilling opportunities, and a small close-knit community for international students. After completing this pathway program, you will be well prepared to complete your degree at 911吃瓜.

Flexibility
You can move into any of these specific pathways (Arts and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Communication, Art and Technology, Computing Science, Engineering Science, Environment, Health Sciences, Mechatronics, Sciences, and Sustainable Energy Engineering) or transfer into any program at 911吃瓜 if you meet GPA requirements.
Convenience
FIC provides eligible students with a joint letter of offer to both FIC and 911吃瓜 with a guaranteed GPA threshold. Once you are enrolled at FIC, we ensure transcripts and relevant student information are shared with 911吃瓜鈥攏o need to keep track of paperwork.
Support
All programs are designed to help international students adapt to the Canadian education system. Small classes, additional hours of instruction and small classes with a high teacher:student ratio and additional support programs foster a supportive environment.
More services
FIC is located on 911吃瓜's main Burnaby campus. FIC students have full access to university services including world-class libraries, modern computer laboratories and excellent sporting facilities, as well as on-campus accommodation at the Burnaby campus.
