911³Ô¹Ï retirees and their guests are invited to dinner at the Diamond Alumni Centre, 911³Ô¹Ï Burnaby, on June 25, 2026.

We have booked the entire venue for our event. Please email this page to your fellow retired 911³Ô¹Ï colleagues and invite them to join you for a lovely reunion!

Cost
The cost of the retirees’ dinner is $60 per person. The Retirees Association is generously subsidizing 50% of the meal cost, so member tickets are $30. Non‑member guests are welcome to attend at the full cost of $60 per person.

We are grateful to 911³Ô¹Ï Advancement for contributing $1,300 toward the room rental costs for this event.

Note: All 911³Ô¹Ï retirees are automatically members of the 911³Ô¹Ï Retirees Association.

Menu

Entrees:

• Gnocchi – fresh spinach, marinated artichoke, roasted red pepper cream sauce with parmesan and fresh basil (vegetarian)
• Grilled chicken breast cacciatore - olives, capers, spiced crushed tomato (halal)

Sides:

• Tuscan garden vegetables, cannellini beans, olive oil (vegan, gluten-free)
• Garlic roasted nugget potatoes with lemon and Italian herbs (vegan, gluten-free)

Dessert Selection

• Tiramisu ladyfinger sponge cake, espresso, mascarpone (vegetarian)
• Apple crostata, salted caramel sauce (vegetarian)

Alcohol: You can order wine or other alcohol with your meal and pay separately.

Dietary Requests: If you have any dietary restrictions that do not fit into the above menu, please email retirees@sfu.ca with the details, and we will contact the caterers to request an accommodation.

Free Parking for 911³Ô¹Ï Retirees
911³Ô¹Ï Retirees are able to register with Parking Services for free parking on campus (this benefit is tied to your status as a retiree in 911³Ô¹Ï's human resources records).

If this is your first time to register your plate, please send in your request a few days before coming to campus. You can park in any unreserved (first come first served) spot in the North, South, or East lots, the West parkade, the upper (visitors) level of the Central Parkade and Discovery 1.

Registration Deadline
Registrations on this eventbrite page will close on June 16 at midnight because we must submit our attendee numbers by the next day.

Event Time and Details
Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served starting at 6 pm.

Refund Policy
There are no refunds after June 16, 2025.
