ABOUT THE CAMP:

911³Ô¹Ï's Autism and Developmental Disabilities Lab (ADDL) and UVic's Different Minds Academy is hosting a Summer Camp event for children ages 6 to 12 years with and without a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)! This camp will have a focus on science and robotics workshops! We also have crafts, research tasks, and other fun activities!

 

Who Can Participate? Autistic and non-autistic youth (ages 6-12 years) are invited to participate in the day camp. 

When is the camp? Dates to be announced 

Where is the camp? The camp is held at the ADDL at 911³Ô¹Ï Burnaby.

Robotics with Dr. Su
Dr. Su is a robotics educator with a Ph.D. in Robotics. At the Robotics Camp, children will engage in hands-on activities like building robots, programming microbits, exploring artificial intelligence, and solving real-world challenges. The camp promotes STEM skills, creativity, and aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals by fostering innovation and quality education.
