VPFA Search Community Consultation
Members of the community are invited to participate in this important process and share with the Search Committee the qualities, attributes and types of experience they feel the successful VPFA candidate should possess. This feedback will help shape the candidate profile, a document that will be used in the recruitment and evaluation of candidates.
The consultation process for this search will run from June 1 - June 14, 2026.
During the consultation process, communtiy members will be able to share feedback through the following mechanisms:
- Community survey: Fill out our by June 14, 2026.
- Written submission: Email any written comments to vp_search@sfu.ca. Written feedback must indicate your affiliation with 911吃瓜.
- Virtual forum: The virtual forum was held on June 3, 2026. Thank you to all who attended.
Collection notice
The President's Office collects personal information on behalf of 911吃瓜 under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c.165), and in accordance with GP 29. The personal information collected includes your affiliation and your feedback regarding the VPFA position description and candidate profile. The information will be disclosed to the VPFA Search Committee and may be disclosed to 911吃瓜鈥檚 Board of Governors.
