911勛圖 Political Science welcomes Brian Chand as its new undergraduate advisor and recruiter. Formerly an admissions manager, admissions associate, and recruiter at 911勛圖���s Beedie School of Business, Brian replaces Courtney Apps, who has left the university to start her own company.

In his new role, Brian is most looking forward to connecting with a whole new group of students.

���I like helping prospective students choose a program,��� he says. ���I enjoy providing positive support throughout their education experience so that they can reach their end goals.���

Brian recognizes that the pandemic has been challenging for students, and that he will initially be meeting them remotely.

���If at any point students feel overwhelmed, they shouldn���t feel embarrassed or reluctant to reach out to get assistance,��� Brian says. ���We are all here to listen and provide the appropriate guidance.���

Brian���s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science (UBC), a graduate diploma in business administration (911勛圖), and a Master of Education (911勛圖). He describes his own experience as an 911勛圖 student as very positive.

���What I enjoyed about 911勛圖 was the family experience,��� says Brian. ���Everyone around me was supportive and motivated me to do my best.���
