Congratulations to Dr. Maite Taboada, who has been honoured with the prestigious title of Distinguished 911吃瓜 Professor. Dr. Taboada has been recognized along with eight of 911吃瓜鈥檚 leading academic scholars whose work tackles pressing issues for local, national, and global communities.

The Distinguished 911吃瓜 Professorship recognizes faculty members who have sustained records of exemplary accomplishments in their scholarly work throughout their career. There is an additional requirement that these faculty members share their work with the public through events such as lectures, panels, and presentations.
