Teaching Assistant Positions

The Department of Linguistics is now accepting applications for TA positions for Spring 2027.

  • Deadline to apply: November 9, 2026 
  • Duration: January 4th, 2027, to April 26th, 2027
  • You must be available to attend scheduled class meetings, including a final exam when scheduled in the final
    examination period, and to complete grading.
  • Please consider your personal commitments and the course timetable carefully and indicate your preference and availability for courses of interest that do not conflict with your schedule.
  • Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada must have a valid study/work
    permit, a Canadian bank account, and a valid Canadian SIN to be appointed.
  • You are encouraged to apply for all courses you are interested in, this will allow you more opportunity to be
    awarded a position.
  • Positions and base units depend on course enrollments, to be confirmed after the end of the registration release period. These positions are subject to budgetary approval.
