Biography
Karamjeet brings over 20 years of experience in the public practice and public sector, having served in various organizations across manufacturing, services, retail, healthcare, post-secondary, transportation and agriculture. A seasoned financial leader, her expertise lies in accounting standards, internal controls, financial reporting, tax and project management. She's passionate about enhancing business processes, developing meaningful financial reporting, cultivating a strong people culture and developing strong and trusting relationships.
Previously, she was with the University of British Columbia, where she served as the Comptroller since July 2019 and the Interim Vice President of Finance since June 2022.
