Research Interests
My research interests focus primarily on the ways that historical, philosophical and sociological approaches to science can be used to foster justice-centred science education in K-12 and teacher education contexts. I am also interested in understanding the field of research and practice in science education from historical, philosophical, and sociological perspectives. I generally draw on STS (Science and Technology Studies), educational theory, the (Cultural) History of Science, decolonial studies, and voices from the global south in my studies. I have been increasingly interested in exploring scholarship in Environmental Education.
I am usually open to accepting new MA and PhD Students, though it is advisable to contact me before applying.
