Cool Hoods Workshop

COALESCE is excited to partner with the University of British Columbia and the Langley Senior Resources Society to host an upcoming workshop. This will be a friendly and interactive workshop focused on how neighbourhoods experience heat during warmer weather and what we can do to stay comfortable, healthy, and connected. The workshop will include a guided neighbourhood walk and group conversations, creating space to learn from one another and reflect on what works in our own homes and communities. The session will be led by Stephen Sheppard and Alina Zeng from UBC, who work on climate, communities, and neighbourhood planning.

IncludeAge End of Project Showcase

We’re pleased to share an upcoming event from our colleagues at the University of Dundee, the IncludeAge End of Project Showcase, a day of celebration, reflection, and shared learning.

This event brings together researchers, participants, and community members to highlight the work and impact of the IncludeAge project. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to engage with presentations, interactive workshop activities, exhibits, and discussions - creating space to exchange ideas and reflect on key learnings.

The showcase also includes more interactive elements such as serious game play, as well as a quiet space for those who may prefer a more relaxed environment. In the evening, attendees are invited to a special screening of the film Silver Screamers.
