Admission & Transferring

Follow Applicable Directions:

  1. Direct Admission from High School  (Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology majors only)
  2. Internal Transfer from Another Program Within 911³Ô¹Ï (All BPK programs)
  3. Transfer from Another University or College (All BPK programs)

Admission is Competitive

The Department of Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology strictly adheres to the University's course repeat limits due to the large number of qualified applicants. 

Students not meeting the competitive admission/approval GPA can consult with Student Services or Sci-Space regarding suitable program alternatives. 

Limits on Repeated Courses

The number of courses which a student may repeat in a degree program is limited to five. The number of times a student may repeat a course is once. Courses completed at 911³Ô¹Ï for which a student has already received transfer credit from another institution will count within five repeats limit.

Extenuating Circumstances

If a student received a poor or incomplete grade due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. illness), the student can follow the Withdrawals . If permitted to 'withdraw' from a class, even after receiving a grade, then that class will not count against the two permitted attempts.
