Join Dr. Dawn Mackey, Dr. Randy McIntosh and Dr. Victoria Claydon in a conversation about People-Centred and Partner-Oriented Research (PCPOR). Following a brief presentation by the BC SUPPORT Unit Fraser Centre on what PCPOR is, what it can look like for different types of research (including non-human participant research), and why it is important, panelists will discuss:
- The benefits they and their partners experienced by doing PCPOR and how it has advanced their research programs.
- Common challenges they have experienced, and how they overcome them or learned from them.
- Career development & impact in the context of PCPOR.
