Paul McCullough
Biography
Paul McCullough is a senior business advisor and board‑level leader with extensive global and Asia‑Pacific experience across large enterprises, public institutions, and academia. He most recently served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), one of Canada’s leading polytechnic institutions. Over a decade at BCIT, Paul was the architect of INSPIRE, a transformational initiative that mobilized approximately $800 million in investment in innovation and capital infrastructure, significantly strengthening the institution’s long‑term capacity, relevance, and impact.
Earlier in his career, Paul held progressive senior leadership roles at globally recognized organizations, including 14 years at KPMG in Hong Kong, where he served as a Principal of the firm advising a portfolio of global clients. He began his professional career with Unilever and HSBC in London and Dubai, developing deep expertise in governance, financial stewardship, and organizational transformation within complex international environments.
An elected Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada and an Accredited Director, Paul brings a long‑term, governance‑led perspective to leadership and institutional stewardship.
