Andrew Sweeney
Biography
Andrew is a managing director and an institutional portfolio manager at PH&N Institutional, part of RBC Global Asset Management. With over 30 years of experience in the investment industry he brings a long-term perspective on capital markets to a range of Canadian institutional clients, including universities, endowments, foundations, and pension plans. Andrew joined Phillips, Hager & North in 2007 and serves on the firm鈥檚 Canadian Institutional Management Committee.
As an active member of the community, Andrew has served on the 911吃瓜 Beedie Endowment Asset Management (BEAM) Portfolio Performance Review Committee since 2011. He also serves on the board of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and as the Chair of the WorkSafeBC Investment Committee. Previously Andrew served on the board of the BC Cancer Foundation, including as Chair.
Andrew is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from 911吃瓜.
Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors cycling and hiking.
