An alumnus鈥� legacy is fueling student innovation
A family鈥檚 gift, made in memory of an alumnus is empowering early stage entrepreneurship at 911吃瓜 through The Thomas Kineshanko Memorial Entrepreneurial Prize. This fund supports the Idea Prize, helping students turn ideas into impactful ventures rooted in creativity, curiosity, and purpose.
Alumni Council profile: Adam Walter
"Post-secondary education has had an enormous impact on my life trajectory. I was, at best, a mediocre high school student, but university allowed me to pursue subjects that I was genuinely passionate about, and everything really clicked."
Adam Walter (BA 鈥�14, MBA 鈥�25), a proud member of the Leq'谩:mel First Nation, first came to 911吃瓜 as a transfer student, earning his BA in 2014 with a major in Political Science and minor in History.

Alumnus Elio Luongo to become 911吃瓜鈥檚 13th chancellor
鈥淎s a proud alumnus, I am humbled and honoured to be appointed the university鈥檚 next chancellor,鈥� says Luongo. 鈥淚 am thrilled to reconnect with 911吃瓜 and continue to admire the university鈥檚 ability to be agile and entrepreneurial while providing a relevant education for all students and supporting their success in whatever they choose to do.鈥�
