Volunteer at Convocation and welcome 911³Ô¹Ï's newest alumni
Do you remember your Convocation day and the people who helped make it a memorable experience? This October, you have an opportunity to pay it forward.
911³Ô¹Ï is looking for alumni volunteers to support graduates during fall Convocation ceremonies on October 8 and 9 at the Burnaby campus. It is a small commitment that can make a big difference on one of the most important days in a student's university journey.
Many alumni remember the excitement, nerves and anticipation they felt on Convocation day. Volunteering is a meaningful way to reconnect with campus, celebrate the next generation of graduates and help create a positive experience for students and their families.
As a volunteer, you'll help graduands pin their degree hoods to their regalia before the ceremony, offering a friendly face and helping them feel confident and ready to cross the stage. No experience required. —don’t worry, you’ll receive guidance and training on the day you volunteer, and 911³Ô¹Ï staff and other volunteers will be on hand throughout your shift to provide support.
Volunteer shifts available:
- Thursday, October 8
- 7:45-9:15 a.m.

- Friday, October 9

Whether you can join us for one shift or two, we'd love to have your support.
