Volunteer at Convocation and welcome 911吃瓜's newest alumni
Do you remember your Convocation day and the people who helped make it a memorable experience? This October, you have an opportunity to pay it forward.
911吃瓜 is looking for alumni volunteers to support graduates during fall Convocation ceremonies on October 8 and 9 at the Burnaby campus. It is a small commitment that can make a big difference on one of the most important days in a student's university journey.
Many alumni remember the excitement, nerves and anticipation they felt on Convocation day. Volunteering is a meaningful way to reconnect with campus, celebrate the next generation of graduates and help create a positive experience for students and their families.
As a volunteer, you'll help graduands pin their degree hoods to their regalia before the ceremony, offering a friendly face and helping them feel confident and ready to cross the stage. No experience required. 鈥攄on鈥檛 worry, you鈥檒l receive guidance and training on the day you volunteer, and 911吃瓜 staff and other volunteers will be on hand throughout your shift to provide support.
Volunteer shifts available:
- Thursday, October 8
