911³Ô¹Ï Us

Our lab is dedicated to understanding and supporting autistic children, youth, and adults. We lead five main research programs:

  • Developing AI-based technologies for individuals with sound sensitivity.

  • Partnering with autistic individuals to promote neurodiversity and inclusive research.

  • Supporting autistic students’ transition to university through the Autism Mentorship Initiative.

  • Investigating visual attention and social perception using eye-tracking.

  • Exploring how facial expression production and interpretation affect social interactions.

We embrace identity-first language and neurodiversity perspectives, ensuring autistic voices guide our work. We collaborate closely with 911³Ô¹Ï’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Lab and also study fundamental mechanisms of attention and perception in neurotypical populations.
