My heart is with Iranian members of our 911³Ô¹Ï community as we continue to witness the impact of Mahsa Amini’s death while in the custody of authorities in Iran.

On behalf of 911³Ô¹Ï, I want you to know that we stand in solidarity with all of you in our communities who are impacted by the ongoing situation and share concerns for all Iranians—and especially Iranian women—who are courageously standing up for human rights at their personal costs.

• Connect with a chaplain: The 911³Ô¹Ï Multifaith Centre has chaplains from various faith backgrounds available for one-on-one conversations and support.
• My SSP: 911³Ô¹Ï students can access free 24/7 mental health support through the My SSP app. Culturally relevant support options are available.

• Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP): the 911³Ô¹Ï Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provides confidential, professional assistance to help 911³Ô¹Ï employees and their family members resolve problems that affect your personal and work lives.
• Critical Incident Support: A Critical Incident (or Significant Event) is a traumatic event that creates a strong emotional reaction. This reaction may interfere with an individual’s ability to manage normal day-to-day activities or have a large negative impact on the people involved or community members that have in some way been involved.
