Biography

Jasmin is an MA student in Criminology at 911³Ô¹Ï, within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology with a minor in Sociology from 911³Ô¹Ï. Her research interests centre around issues of justice and equality, with a particular focus on decision-making processes within the criminal justice system and how these processes impact marginalized communities.

She has worked as a teaching assistant for multiple criminology courses at 911³Ô¹Ï, where she continues to support student learning and academic development. She is passionate about advancing knowledge in criminology and dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes through inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices. Jasmin is excited to join the TILT team as a research assistant, and to engage in SoTL discussion and research alongside 911³Ô¹Ï’s academic community.
