Respectful Workplace & Learning Environment
Supporting a Respectful Learning Environment
Learning about Respectful Learning Environments is an important step in being a part of the 911³Ô¹Ï community. Bullying or harassing behavior can take place anywhere and can be present throughout our entire lives. It is all of our responsibility - students, faculty, and staff - to create a welcoming and inclusive environment at 911³Ô¹Ï where community members treat each other with dignity and respect.
A training module was developed for the 911³Ô¹Ï community to help you:
- Describe what a respectful environment is at 911³Ô¹Ï, how you contribute to it, and how you should treat and be treated by others
- Learn how to distinguish bullying or harassment from criticism, disagreements or differences in opinions
- Understand what resources are available to you and your friends if you are experiencing bullying or harassment
- How you can report bullying and harassment and what steps are followed by 911³Ô¹Ï after reporting
Everyone at 911³Ô¹Ï is encouraged to complete this training module to help them learn more about respectful working and learning environments at 911³Ô¹Ï and to be part of the solution to bullying and harassment.
