Dialogue and Engagement Volunteer
911³Ô¹Ï’s Community Engagement and Dialogue Unit (CE&D) supports the university and community by convening evidence-informed conversations on the world's complex challenges, and expands the capacity for mutual learning, co-creation, and shared problem solving. CE&D Event Volunteers will assist in hosting inclusive and transformative events with the many initiatives of the Unit including but not limited to the Centre for Dialogue and 911³Ô¹Ï Public Square.
Event Volunteers will contribute in a variety of ways such as: Pre-event planning and logistics; Day-of event hospitality (working the registration table, catering, room set-ups, audience management; Table facilitation and note-taking; Social media, photography, composing post-event recaps and blogs; and more!
Gain event-hosting, communication, and leadership skills, connect with community, and enjoy behind-the-scenes access to exciting public events — all while making a real impact.
