STT - Self-Writing in Francophone Literatures FREN 204 (3)
Introduces current theories regarding the definition and forms of today鈥檚 writing of the self 鈥� autobiography, autofiction, journal, memoire. It also presents recurrent themes of such types of writings, studying its strengths, usages, and limits regarding the representation of the self and its capacity for actions and agency. Prerequisite: Grade 12 French or permission of the department.
