Biography
Dr. Nerida Bullock holds a PhD in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from 911³Ô¹Ï. Her teaching and research focus on gender, sexuality, law, intimacy, and social power, with particular interests in marriage, religion, family, and feminist and queer legal theory. Her work examines how legal systems shape personal relationships, sexuality, and forms of social belonging. She has published research in the Canadian Journal of Law and Society, Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society, and the International Journal of Religion. At 911³Ô¹Ï, she teaches courses on sexuality, family, law, and contemporary social issues from a critical sociological perspective.
