Great numbers of Western hemlock looper moths have been spotted across Metro Vancouver. 911吃瓜 professor Gerhard Gries, who holds an NSERC-Industrial Research Chair in Multimodal Animal Communication Ecology, is available to provide insight on these insects and why we are seeing this outbreak occur.
