Sophia is a planning student in 911吃瓜's MRM program. After completing her undergraduate degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at McGill University, her passion for climate action, community engagement, and sustainable development led her from small-scale farming and co-founding Neighbourhood Farm Schools, to developing and managing environmental education programs across Canada. Currently, she works with Green Economy Canada to support SME's in the transition to a low-carbon economy. Her research focuses on leveraging connections between planning, Nature-based Solutions, and placemaking to support holistic, community-level climate action. In her spare time, she loves rock climbing, traveling, and learning new languages.
