This roadmap is here to guide you through what’s ahead—key dates, deadlines, and events as you prepare for your first day of classes in August. Information on activities such as enrolment and orientation will be shared in the coming weeks. Please check back to this roadmap regularly for updates.
Over your transition into the MD Program, you will be kept up-to-date through:
- Get Started MD Newsletter (ongoing) - A newsletter delivered to your inbox regularly.
- Learner Portal (July) - The Learner Portal will keep you informed and connected to events, services, and resources to support your journey into and throughout the program.

911³Ô¹Ï off-campus partner housing
If you’re relocating, explore off-campus housing options near Surrey through 911³Ô¹Ï’s partner and listing service. You’ll also find helpful resources and tips for renting.
June
911³Ô¹Ï computing ID & MFA
- June 12: Look for an email sent to your non-911³Ô¹Ï email address to activate your 911³Ô¹Ï Computing ID. You'll need your computing ID to access Pre-Orientation materials in mid-June: Student Handbook, Clinical Placements Form, and the Learner Portal.
- After you receive communication regarding your 911³Ô¹Ï ID, access (911³Ô¹Ï’s student information system) to review and update your personal information. Make sure to add your Social Insurance Number.
Financial Aid
Applications for government financial assistance, including loans and grants, open in mid-June through . Students normally apply for funding on a term-by-term basis. Visit the Financial Aid and Awards website to learn more.
Submit final documents & Forms
June 30: Complete your post-acceptance requirements and your MD Program forms.
