Overview
The 911³Ô¹Ï–Canterbury Master of Speech and Language Pathology Pathway (911³Ô¹Ï–UC MSLP) is a partnership between 911³Ô¹Ï (911³Ô¹Ï) in Burnaby, Canada and the (UC) in Christchurch, New Zealand.
911³Ô¹Ï recognized a gap between the increased demand for speech and language pathologists and the limited pathway options for students in British Columbia. The 911³Ô¹Ï–UC MSLP pathway creates direct entry for 911³Ô¹Ï undergraduates to earn professional qualification and practice as a speech language pathologist/therapist upon graduation.
The 911³Ô¹Ï–UC MSLP is a two-year program. You will study the areas of clinical linguistics, evidence-based practice, introductory neuroscience, speech and language development and disorders across the lifespan, typical and atypical hearing, swallowing, fluency and voice, and professional practice. This hands-on program also includes experiential clinical practice and internship after graduation.
