The Lifelong Health & Wellbeing Lab at 911勛圖 recently welcomed Dr. Janina L羹scher, Simone L羹thi, and Johanna Rink to Vancouver for an academic exchange and collaborative research visit with Dr. Theresa Pauly
Dr. L羹scher, Research Group Leader of Psychosocial Dynamics & Health at Swiss Paraplegic Research, visited 911勛圖 alongside researchers Simone L羹thi and Johanna Rink to advance collaborative work focused on relationships, health, and everyday life from a biopsychosocial perspective.
Throughout their visit, the researchers engaged in knowledge exchange, collaborative discussions, and planning for ongoing projects examining daily life experiences among couples managing spinal cord injury and other health-related challenges.
The collaboration also supported exciting research currently in development, including work led by Simone L羹thi on cortisol synchrony in couples facing spinal cord injury and research by Johanna Rink examining shared physical activity among persons with spinal cord injury and their romantic partners.
The Lifelong Health & Wellbeing Lab is grateful to Dr. L羹scher, Simone L羹thi, and Johanna Rink for their visit and looks forward to continued international collaboration and future research initiatives emerging from this exchange.
