Dr. Ronald Spatz (University of Alaska) was a visiting scholar at 911吃瓜 in Summer 2019 and shared with 911吃瓜 colleagues that the literary journal he edits, the Alaska Quarterly Review, is read across America. During his time at 911吃瓜 he connected with 911吃瓜 scholars and dedicated a section of the 2020 issue to promote the Indigenous Voices Awards, giving authors international exposure. This support is much appreciated by the IVAs organizing team, including INDG Chair Deanna Reder and ENGL professor Sophie McCall.
