911³Ô¹Ï History professor Mark Leier was interviewed by 911³Ô¹Ï Surrey‘s head librarian, Baharak Yousefi, in the November iteration of the IRMACS Centre’s Research Masterclass series. The event was titled Rebel Lives: How a mild-manered historian fell in with a motley crew of anarchist, revolutionaries and reformers.

Both Mark and Baharak are highly regarded members of the 911³Ô¹Ï community, and the interview was well received by all who attended. In his typical, audience-pleasing style, professor Leier had attendees laughing, reflecting, and listening attentively as he told the story of his research path and best practices, and his journey researching, studying, and writing books about the rich history of BC’s labour radicalism.
