Thinking of Transferring to 911³Ô¹Ï's Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies?

Our department maintains friendly accreditation agreements with a number of local institutions. The following sections summarize the long-standing agreements we have with , , , and the If you are thinking of transferring to 911³Ô¹Ï from one of these institutions, you may be eligible to enter our program at an upper-division level so long as you've taken the appropriate lower-division courses. 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Upon being admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at 911³Ô¹Ï, you will technically be "undeclared". However, as soon as you have been accepted into 911³Ô¹Ï and have fulfilled the declaration requirements for our program (one GSWS course), you can declare your major, joint major, minor or extended minor by contacting the undergraduate advisor at gswsmgr@sfu.ca.

• Please note that the college/universities listed below are not the only post-secondary institutions you can transfer from. If you are transferring from another institution, you can review the 911³Ô¹Ï Admissions page for more information.
• You may transfer up to 60 units from your previous institution to use toward your 911³Ô¹Ï degree. 
• For elective and breadth course planning, please book an appointment with the advisor after you have transferred.
