School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering
Advancing agritech innovation and student learning through 911³Ô¹Ï-Surrey partnership
911³Ô¹Ï has partnered with the City of Surrey to establish the 911³Ô¹Ï Frontier Hub for Agritech Research and Methodology (911³Ô¹Ï-FARM), an agritech innovation hub that focuses on agricultural research and technology development.
The hub will serve as a space for testing and demonstrating new agritech solutions, aiming to support food security and address real-world sustainability challenges.
This partnership closely aligns with the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering’s (MSE) Agritech program. Through training students to apply mechatronic systems, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence to agricultural challenges, the partnership provides valuable opportunities for collaboration and hands-on learning. MSE students can bridge theory with real-world practice, strengthen their technical skills and prepare their career readiness in the growing agritech sector.
