Turning a space dream into reality: Tianna Sequeira’s co-op journey at CSA
The School of Sustainable Energy Engineering’s (SEE) student Tianna Sequeira joined the through 911³Ô¹Ï’s co-op program.
Starting her studies in International Studies before transferring to Sustainable Energy Engineering, Tianna’s journey at 911³Ô¹Ï has been driven by her passion for sustainability and space. Her co-op at CSA allowed her to apply classroom knowledge into real-world projects.
She first worked on greenhouse gas data analysis to help CSA monitor its environmental footprint, and now is involved in systems engineering for the Canadarm3 robotic arm on NASA’s Lunar Gateway, assisting with integration and testing. These co-op opportunities provide Tianna hands-on involvement in an international space mission and helps solidify her career path in the space industry.
