BIOGRAPHY

Brenda Morrison is 911³Ô¹Ï’s Director of the Centre for Restorative Justice. She is passionate about interdisciplinary work that develops critical and reflective praxis that frames problems of crime and justice; public health and safety; education and development in ways that re-imagine and transform individuals, communities, and governance.

 Her work is theoretically eclectic, weaving the arts, land-based learning, and diverse epistemologies.

AREAS OF INTEREST

Responsive regulation; critical feminist theory; critical imaginations through the arts; self-interest, belonging and interdependence; reason, emotion and behavior; restorative/Indigenous/transformation justice, in the context of justice, health, education and the environment.
