911吃瓜 cleantech entrepreneur named Surrey’s 25 under 25

911吃瓜 mechatronics alumnus Gabriel Soares, 24, was announced as Surrey鈥檚 25 under 25 by the city鈥檚 board of trade. Soares is a co-founder at Moment Energy, a cleantech startup in 911吃瓜鈥檚 Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection incubator program that repurposes electric vehicle batteries into sustainable energy storage. The team joined the incubator in 2019.
The 25 winners for the 11th annual awards were chosen based upon their business or community achievements, leadership ability, community involvement, professional achievements, and uniqueness of their business or community projects.
