Booking Canoe Two
Step 1: Submit Your Request
Email the Coordinator, First Peoples’ Gathering House at fpgh_coordinator@sfu.ca with:
- Event purpose and description
- Requested date(s) and time(s)
- Anticipated number of participants
- Space requirements
Step 2: Cultural and Eligibility Review
The Coordinator will assess: eligibility, cultural appropriateness, alignment with the purpose of the Gathering House. Director approval may be required before proceeding.
Step 3: Submit MECS Booking Request Form
If approved to proceed, the requester must submit the , including event purpose and description, audience and attendance and Indigenous engagement or alignment.
Step 4: MECS Planning and Coordination
MECS coordinates logistics, contracts and service providers. All planning must be finalized at least 10 business days before the event.
Step 5: Confirmation
MECS provides formal booking confirmation and oversees event implementation.
Canoe Two Fees
User groups are subject to room rental fees and applicable service costs for Canoe Two bookings. Fees vary depending on the space requested, duration of use and any staffing, technical or equipment requirements. A detailed quote outlining all applicable fees will be provided and confirmed prior to finalizing the booking.
